Friday, June 17, 2011. It rained in this part of the world. Rained so much it left trailing little streams. The rain drops were beautiful. They brought nourishment and life. The rain poured off the roofs to the thirsty ground. The rain clouds brought cool relief to the dehydrated the land. Where are thy bountiful southern rains? Our throats are parched, thirsty and swollen.

This blog offers personal book reviews using my special critiquing skills. What is the purpose of reading? Is knowledge an end in itself or should it serve an ultimate purpose. I always have a purpose for my reading. Being a determined, goal-orientated person, the focus of my reading tends to be garner information to help me get ahead, as opposed fiction intended to entertain.
