Mimikos is a Tokyo-based not-for-profit organisation led by Samuel Dunscombe. Mimikos mission is to organize concerts of improvised and electro-acoustic music, and to explore the porous boundaries that exist between the avant-garde, the experimental, and music made in the contemporary-classical tradition. Mimikos values collaboration between the different contemporary music communities of Tokyo, and aims to serve as a bridge between different modes of sonic exploration.
