Thursday, May 7, 2015. I did a self portrait of myself using black ink. Wednesday, April 29, 2015. Using gouache, I painted a picture of a lady bug sitting on a leaf. After I did that, I covered the surface with black ink and I let it dry. After, I washed off the ink and it left little black marks and a black background to show the different colors. In this picture I used pencil for the whole thing. I drew my friends dog to show all the little details.

Friday, May 15, 2015. I painted myself with a high contrast picture. I outlined the picture and then filled it in with ink on the parts that were dark. I added a fun pattern to the picture, that can be seen above, to give the picture a more intense look. 13 Gouache and Ink Resist.
