Anything for a quiet life. On the wrong side of 60,working a few days a week. Married since 1972,three children doing their own thing and three grandchildren and part share in a dog. Trying to be frugal,enjoy sewing,knitting and cooking and trying not to panic that time may be running out and I still have lots more that I want to do. Most days I tell myself to get a grip and get on with it,the others I wallow in the inevitability of it all.

I loved this book! Its comic, tragic and wise. What a brave and fearless writer. The humour is black, base and slapstick and really very, very funny. The Self Illusion by Bruce Hood.
